Dental Implants
A dental implant is a small titanium post placed in the jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth. Once it has bonded with the bone, a crown is fixed on top. Implants look, feel and work like natural teeth and do not depend on the neighboring teeth for support.

06 Questions
Dental Implants: your questions.
Is implant surgery painful?
The procedure is done under local anesthesia. Most patients feel mild discomfort for a few days afterwards, which is managed with simple painkillers.
How long does the whole process take?
It usually takes a few months from placement to the final crown because the bone needs time to heal around the implant. You will get a timeline for your case.
